Q: My student assistant is work-study. Why are they displaying in Shift as being a wages student?

In Shift, a student is only paid as work-study if the following conditions are met:

  • You have entered their green sheet information for the semester.
  • The student's work-study budget balance for the semester is enough to cover their shift.
  • The work-study period for the semester has not ended.

If you have a work-study student that was paid wages, please first check that the above conditions are met. If they are and the problem persists, please contact the Dean's Office and Web Technologies.
