The Institutional Repository accepts many types of materials produced by MSU faculty, staff, clinicians, researchers, and students, as well as material dealing with the history and operation of Mississippi State University. Such materials include (but are not limited to) the following examples:

Scholarly output
  • Pre- and post-print manuscripts
  • Published journal articles
  • Books
  • Book chapters
  • Conference proceedings
  • Extension publications
  • Data sets
  • Theses and dissertations
  • Presentation slides and posters
University history and organizational records
  • MSU historical documents
  • University committee minutes and records
  • Alumni records
  • Promotional materials (magazines, brochures, images, videos)
  • Performances (where allowed by copyright)
  • The Reflector newspaper and other student publications
  • Course catalogs, curricula, bulletins, and reading lists

Before submitting anything, you must ensure that you have the legal right to do so, or that you have permission from the item's creator to do so.
