When searching for articles and other resources off-campus, it is important to access the research databases through the Libraries' website. During your search, you will be asked to login with your MSU NetID and Net Password.

Alternatively, you can first login to the MSU virtual private network (VPN) and your access will be as if you were on campus. This will let the database providers know that you have rights to access the databases.

Note: The MSU Libraries provide online access to thousands of online journals and databases; however, due to copyright and licensing agreements with vendors and publishers, the Libraries can only provide off-campus access to MSU faculty, staff, and students.
