If you're studying genealogy, we have some resources to help you.

  1. Ancestry.com : We subscribe to Ancestry.com's Library Edition, which is available for anyone to use on-campus, as well as to MSU affiliates off-campus.

  2. MSU Libraries Special Collections Department : If you’d like to research anything genealogy related, the Special Collections has a collection of print and manuscript materials to help you, which are especially helpful for Mississippi genealogy research. They can be emailed at: sp_coll@library.msstate.edu. Their hours are Monday-Friday 8-12 and 1-5pm, strictly by appointment only.

  3. MSU Libraries Genealogy Fair : Each year, the MSU Libraries hosts the E.O. Jr. and Betty Templeton History & Genealogy Fair. Learn more at https://scholarsjunction.msstate.edu/genfair/.
