The course reserves collection is housed in the Access Services Department located on the second floor of Mitchell Memorial Library. Instructors place supplemental materials on course reserves to have them available outside of the classroom. Course reserves may be electronic, print, CD/DVD/VHS or artifacts. These materials may be checked out for the amount of time set by the instructor. Non-electronic course reserves are accessible any time the Library is open. An MSU ID is required to check out course reserve materials.
Electronic course reserves are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via the Library's website. Electronic course reserves are password-protected so that only MSU faculty, staff and students are allowed to access the files. To access electronic course reserves, open the Online Catalog and select the Course Reserves option on the right side of the screen. You can then search for your reserves by the Instructor of the Course, the Course Name, or the Course Number.
