If you're studying genealogy, we have some resources to help you.

  1. Ancestry.com : We subscribe to Ancestry.com's Library Edition, which is available for anyone to use on-campus, as well as to MSU affiliates off-campus.

  2. MSU Libraries Special Collections Department : If you’d like to research anything genealogy related, the Special Collections has a collection of print materials to help you, which are especially helpful for Mississippi genealogy research. They can be emailed at: sp_coll@library.msstate.edu or called at 662-325-7679. Their hours are Monday-Friday 7:30-5pm and Saturday from 10-1pm.

  3. MSU Libraries Genealogy Fair : Each year, the MSU Libraries hosts the E.O. Templeton Jr. History & Genealogy Fair. Learn more at library.msstate.edu/genealogy.
