The quickest way to get your Interlibrary Loan request is to fill out the form as completely and correctly as you can.
For instance, using the Find It button in EBSCO Discovery for a journal article will often fill out the ILL form automatically.
If you fill out the form yourself, fill it out as completely as you can. Provide any notes that will help clarify your request (e.g., “The catalog says this item is on the shelf, but it isn’t.”). Also, be sure to check the holdings of the MSU libraries. If we have the item in print, it could cause a delay. Rush service is available but costs at least $20, depending on the lending institution.
